The early childhood team addresses the needs of children transitioning from the Birth-to-Three program and children3 to 5 identified in need of services through the Childhood Developmental Days Screening (DOVE Days) held in both Fall and Spring. They provide early interventions for children identified in need of early learning skill development, behavioral concerns, and speech/language delays.

Elementary Special Education:

The elementary special education team works with children Kindergarten through 4th grade to help close the gap in academic, behavior and speech/language skills. Our team implements an inclusive model whenever possible, while offering a full continuum of services to meet the needs of the individual student.  Students have a variety of learning tools such as interactive smart panels, 1:1 Chromebooks in grades 5K-4, and a variety of software programs.  The team is involved in our RTI process at the Tier IV level and provides suggestions for curricular strategies with all students.
