Welcome artists! My name is Melissa Ackley, I teach general art for 5k-4th grade. Before joining CGB in 2017, I taught elementary art in Menomonee Falls and prior to that, I taught 4K for 4 years in MPS. I attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for Art Education and graduated in 2009. I am also certified in Early Childhood Education, which I earned in 2012.
Outside of school, I enjoy woodworking, refurbishing furniture, reading, gardening, and enjoying time with my family and friends!
I believe that every child is an artist and I enjoy bringing current and modern art concepts to their learning experiences.
