Thank you for visiting my teacher webpage. After graduating from UW Milwaukee in 2009, I began my teaching career in 2nd grade just outside of Milwaukee. During that time I earned my Masters Degree in Instructional Technology from Cardinal Stritch University. I made the move to CGB-Elementary in 2019 and began teaching 3rd grade and have loved every minute. Most recently I achieved my goal and earned my National Board Certification with a focus on literacy.
My classroom is full of flexible seating, tables, and lots of books! I like to rearrange the room often to keep things fresh and interesting. Make sure to stop in sometime and check out the kids favorite spot-- "The Cabin!"
My goal each year is to encourage my students to develop a classroom community full of respect and a love of learning. I do my best to keep learning active and purposeful allowing all of my students to be engage while working towards high expectations.
