I have been blessed to be a teacher at Cedar Grove-Belgium Elementary School since 2008. I went to college at UW-LaCrosse with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood Education. I also went to Concordia for my Masters as a Reading Teacher. I taught kindergarten here for 14 years and am currently teaching 3rd grade! I love being able to have conversations with my students about what they are reading and learning about. I also really enjoy joking around and getting to know each child! It is important that each child knows they are safe, cared for and valued in my classroom. My goal is to build strong relationships so they feel comfortable to make mistakes and ask questions as they learn.
Outside of school I love being outside with my husband and four active children. We enjoy going for walk with our dogs, riding on the UTV, and playing lots of sports together. On my own time, I love to read, bake cookies, and go shopping!
