GRADE 5 STUDENTS: The fifth grade will be traveling to Camp Y-Koda on Thursday, May 13th. Students will be interacting with nature and building teamwork skills. COVID-19 guidelines will be in place. Masks will be required indoors and cohorts will be kept separate when working in small groups. No chaperones are needed. We will go on this trip rain or shine. Please be sure your child is dressed for the weather. Students need to wear long pants or jeans, and closed toed shoes are required for the activities planned. No sandals or flip-flops will be allowed. Students should dress in layers, and should bring a change of clothes in a backpack. If you have not signed up for a school sack lunch, you will need to bring a disposable lunch. The bus will leave at 8:00 a.m., and return to school around 2:30 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact your child's homeroom teacher.
Thursday, May 13, 2021, 7:00 p.m. All band students should arrive at 6:30 p.m. for warm-up. The concert will take place in the Cedar Grove-Belgium High School Gym (6th grade students should report to the HS band room, 7th and 8th grade students should report to the HS choir room)
Concert Attendees: Due to the total number of students in all three bands, we are asking everyone to please limit guests to 2 per student so we are able to maintain social distancing. Because of this, the concert will be live streamed. Please share this link with any other family members, friends, etc. that wish to view the concert!
Performance Completion: You and your child may leave after they are done performing. There will be a “transition time” for students/parents to exit after each band. If the doors are closed, please do not enter the gym. This indicates that a performance is in progress. The doors will be opened when a particular group is finished performing.
