
SWIM LESSON UPDATE: For those wondering what level their child may be in for swim lessons, we use the American Red Cross level system. A brief description of each level is listed below. These can also be found on our Aquatics Center page of our website.
Level 1: Introduction to Water Skills: Students will learn how to feel comfortable in the water and safely enjoy it.
Level 2: Fundamentals of Aquatic Skills: Children will learn basic swimming skills.
Level 3: Stroke Development: Additional guided practice will help students improve their skills.
Level 4: Stroke Improvement: Kids will gain confidence during swim lessons, improve their stroke and gain additional aquatic skills.
Level 5: Stroke Refinement: Guidance allows kids to refine their strokes and become more efficient swimmers.
Level 6: Swimming and Skill Proficiency: Students will learn to swim with ease and efficiency, and gain the ability to swim smoothly over greater distances. Swimmers will also have the option to participate in more advanced courses.

Kids Yoga starts tomorrow! (Wed. Jan. 31) Cost is $10.

EXCITING NEWS! Swimming Lessons will be returning this coming Monday, 1/29 and will run Mondays & Fridays for four weeks. This first session will include Levels 1, 3, and 5. Once Session A concludes, we will offer Levels 2, 4, and 6. We will also be offering Private Lessons on Saturday mornings for those interested. Don't Forget! Battle of the Cans is taking place. CGB and Oostburg are competing to see who can bring in the most nonperishable food items. Everyone can participate with proceeds going to the CGB food pantry.

Held in the Middle School Library from 4PM - 5PM every Tuesday.

E Sports:
The E-Sports spring season will start back up around mid February. E-Sports is available to students in grades 6-8. Sign ups will start the week of January 29. Brawlhallla will be held on Wednesdays and Rocket League will be held on Thursdays after school. Games and practices will begin at 3:00 pm and end at 4:30 pm. There is no late bus available at that time. Students will need an activity participation form on file before they will be able to participate. Forms can be picked up in the office. Any questions about E-Sports can be directed to Mrs. Mundt (lmundt@cgbrockets.com).

The Fitness Center will be CLOSED on Saturday, 1/13. We plan to be open 5am-8pm on Monday, 1/15 since there is no school, and then back to normal hours on Tuesday.

Due to the National Weather Service issuing a Winter Storm Warning for all ofSheboygan County tomorrow starting at 6:00am, we have made the decision to cancel school on Friday, January 12, 2024. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority, and we want to ensure everyone stays safe during inclement weather.
High School Semester exams will be rescheduled to Tuesday, Jan 16, 2024

Youth Wrestling tonight! (1/9/2024) K-5th graders starts at 6 pm. 6th-8th graders start at 7. Practice is in the high school MAC across the hall from the fitness center.
